Favorite pictures from weeks past
It is so hard to decide which ones to post! Some are favorites because of a great smile, or his blue eyes are extra sparkly. But as I look back through them, some are special for less obvious reasons. It's the memories. The outfits that were huge that are now being outgrown. The way Jeremy and I would get so excited when he would wake up and open his eyes for mere minutes in the first week. The "firsts".... first stroller ride, first day I was alone with him, first time he fit into his clothe diapers, first nap in Dad's arms. It reminds me how many wonderful things have happened in the short time we have had the joy of knowing Ethan.
August 22nd. One day old in the hospital. |
September 4th. It looks like he is smiling! He was too young though. I just got lucky with my timing. |

October 5th. This was one of only two days that Ethan liked a pacifier. The next time I offered it to him he screamed and spit it out. |

Starting a Blog about Ethan
Many people have suggested I create a blog to share images and news about Ethan. I am giving it a go! I hope you find this an enjoyable way to connect with our sweet baby boy. He is now 14 weeks old (can you believe it??) but I am going to begin by posting a picture of him the day after he was born. I remember Jeremy and I remarking how he rarely cried while we were in the hospital and when he did it was such a gentle sound. He has since found his voice but I still think it is a relatively sweet cry. I wonder if all mother's feel this way.....
