Ethan is 5 Months Old

It's hard to believe our little guy has been here for 5 months!
He now weighs 13 pounds, 11 ounces.  He falls asleep easily and naps regularly but he does not sleep through the night yet.  He has just learned how to make a new sound.  It is a loud shrieking noise.  It is pretty funny....until he does it for 5 minutes straight...and then it is not:) He really dislikes being placed on his tummy but he really likes being held in a standing position.  Maybe we will just bypass crawling and go straight to walking??  His eyes are still a gorgeous blue.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that they stay that way.  So pretty.  He enjoys his toys, especially his rattle.  He likes looking in the mirror, being lifted in the air, the sound of hands clapping, and looking at fish swim in the aquarium at the club house.  He is a smiley,sweet, funny, cuddly little boy who we just love, love, love!!

Precrawlers Unite!!

Monday was super fun for Ethan and I.  We went to our first baby play class at the library.  There were bubbles, songs, movement, a short story, and toys for the babies to play with at the end.  Ethan liked looking at the other babies and the songs where he was lifted high into the air. One of Ethan's friend's was there! Owen, and his grandma Lucy, who we met at our breastfeeding group.  It was very nice to see happy familiar faces.  

Ethan loves holding his feet and yes, he has managed to suck his toes;)

21 Weeks old today!

Grammy Patti's friend, Dianna, has given Ethan more adorable hats.  I love them.  It is so fun to take Ethan out and about with them on.  It is indescribably wonderful to have a stranger come peak at him in his stroller, tell me how cute he is, and then Ethan gives them a big toothless grin and melts their hearts...or at least mine:)  He is so friendly and happy.  We are so very lucky.  I love him so much!
