9 Months Old Today

Ethan is really moving around.  He stands up, holds onto things, and problem solves his way to what he wants.  Combine that with tottering behind his musical walker and getting a helping hand and he is a very active little boy.  He had his first visit from another baby yesterday.  Our neighbor's little girl just turned 1.  Ethan didn't mind sharing his toys but he was more sensitive than usual crying when she made a loud noise and when she very lightly grabbed his arm.

He is using his little middle finger to touch things he is interested in, pick things up, and help out when he is held next to a light switch.

In Mommy's Arms

Being Ethan's mom continues to be full of surprises and wonder.  He keeps changing and expanding what he can do and who he is.  He is great!!  We love him so much.

Mother's Day Weekend

We had the nicest Mother's Day Weekend one could hope for!  Saturday Grammy Patti and Grandpa Steve came for a visit.  Ethan showed Grammy how much he likes splashing in the bath and then we took a trip to the park.  It was great fun.
Sunday morning Jeremy gave Ethan a pep talk.  He told him that it was important to try and be a good boy all day for Mom.  It worked.  We had the best day together complete with the yummiest cinnamon toast ever, heartfelt cards, and rhubarb pie for dessert.

Happy May Day

We went to the park Sunday and met a baby who was 10 months old and 25 pounds!  It was adorable, both of the babies fell asleep in their swings while the other mom and I pushed them and chatted.
Ethan loves our door bell.  We ring it when we come and go.  He has started to pass us toys like he is sharing them with us.  He has another new tooth!  That makes 7 in just over 2 months.
