The Leach Botanical Garden

Maybe next year Ethan can help in the children's garden near the brontosaurus

Ethan splashed with his hands and we looked at colorful fall leaves floating in the fountain

Play Can Be Anywhere

Ethan is really into sitting and climbing into new places.  He sist in an upturned stool, between the legs of the flipped over kitchen chairs, in cardboard boxes, and in the pot drawer underneath the stove.

At the Pumpkin Patch

We spent a gorgeous afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa at Bizi Farms.   Ethan was a little gentleman at lunch, happy to be at the pumpkin patch, and when it was time for Grandma to leave, he reached up for a hug and gave her a kiss.  A very sweet way to end their visit.

My aMAZING husband led us to victory in the corn maze!

Ethan pets the baby pigs with Dad.  He also bravely touched the potbelly pig right on the nose.  The chickens were his favorite.

Corn Pit!!

At 13 1/2 Months Old

Ethan is literally excited from the moment he wakes up.  He points and babbles constantly.  He enjoys going outside, playing with cats, reading, and sing-a-longs.  This week he got tackle/hugged repeatedly by an adorable 2 year old girl while playing at the mall.  Pretty funny.  He also fell while crawling up stairs and has a little scab under his lip.  His first kind of big owie:(

He occasionally will flip over a chair or his high chair.  I don't know what the downstairs neighbors think but I jump every time.

Lions are one of the animals Ethan is most interested in.  He smiles when you tell him "the lion says rarrrrr".

Full of Personality

Our little man is a sponge!  It is amazing how much he is learning and doing now.  He has learned to take off his shirt, he unzips his jacket, he understands so many words- buttons, eyes, bath, cup.  He's starting to get the hang of feeding himself with a spoon. He loves having sing-a -longs with Mom and Dad.  Teddy Bear Picnic was the first song he asked for over and over.  He's just SO FUN!
