Elephants Say....

The first time our neighbor did this for Ethan it scared him to the point of tears.  Funny because there have really only been a handful of things that have ever scared our brave little boy .  He now loves being an elephant.

The Payoff for Sitting

Almost 18 Months Old

Ethan is delightfully nonstop.  "Up, more, bye bye, hot, beep bee, help, and Dada" are his most frequent words while "mine" is a new one. Occasionally he will string 2 or 3 words together.  He has grown a whopping 4" in the last 6 months propelling him out of the 5th percentile and into the 30th!  He is 22 pounds, 10 ounces and 31 1/2 inches tall.  He is very social with kids and adults.  He went to a Sesame Street themed birthday party for his friend Coleson last weekend and had a blast.  We discovered he LOVES gold fish crackers... but who doesn't??  He is down to one nap most days.  He is getting really good at stacking his duplos.  He enjoys playing with bubbles, watching for firetrucks when he hears a siren, puddle stomping in his rain boots, dancing to music, and bringing Big Bear to Mom and Dad for big hugs.

Snow Day

Yesterday Ethan played in the snow for the first time.

Dad helps wipe away the snow from Ethan's face.   Snow is fun but cold.
