A BIG thanks

Thank you Grandpa Gary and Grandma T for showing us your home and cute town of Brownsville.  We played at a fantastic park, toured the town, caught some live music while having coffee and stealing bites of Gary's cinnamon roll;) played in their gorgeous garden, and just had a blast.

The Park

If it seems like we are at the park a lot, it's because we are:)  Almost every night.  Ethan is quite the climber.  He is fearless which thrills and terrifies me.He got a little banged up this week while running down a rough trail.

Scraped up knees, nose and upper lip.  He is a tough little boy though.  After a minute of cuddling and a quick check of his teeth, he was ready to play again.

Airplane

If I had to say what is Ethan most into, it would be airplanes.  He points to them in the sky, he will tell you a loud noise is an airplane, when I asked him what he was drawing he told me "airplane", and there is only one thing he asks to watch on tv and that is Disney Planes featuring "Du" (Dusty) and "Skip" (Skipper).

Ethan works on his new airplane.  He was delighted and said "turn" when he discovered if you pull it back the propeller turns.

Stories Told by Ethan

Ethan tells us stories now of things he has done during the day.  It's adorable.  "Ball, wawa, up" was the day we were walking at Beaver Marsh.  Ethan climbed up on the railing over the creek and spotted a golf ball in the water.  "Butt, air, hair (with Ethan rubbing the top of his head) was the day I took him to Dizzie Castle .  He pushed a button ("butt", there are a lot of words he only says the first syllable for) making air come out of a play cannon.  I pointed it at him and it blew his hair around.  Ethan's stories are a really fun, and sometimes hilarious, way of filling Jeremy in on what we have done throughout the day.

Ethan found the mustache pacifier the other day.  The head thrust to show off is classic Ethan.

Smiles one moment and telling Mommy "no" the next.  Yep, he's a toddler:)
