3 Little Cuties

Ethan loves playing with his neighbor friends, Allison and Coleson

Firetrucks and Airplanes

It was so fun to be with Ethan today!  He pointed and hummed to the sound of the small planes taking off and landing at Grove Field's open house.  He touched all the propellers he could reach and sat in a helicopter.  Next door the firefighters of Camas were also having an open house complete with bouncy castle ("jump, jump" he kept shouting), open trucks to climb into, hoses to hold and little plastic fireman hats.

The fireman told us this little duck is the real hero

Ethan is "putting out the fire".  Too cute:)

Making Memories

Lu and Mike's wedding on Harstine Island, visiting family in Sequim, camping at Kalaloch in the Olympic National Forest, a quick visit in Seattle, and a celebration with family in Spokane...whew!  That's how the Roberts vacationed!
Considering how much he loves dumping water and jumping in puddles, I thought
it would be impossible to keep Ethan out of the ocean.  He surprised me by enjoying the sand and drift wood much more.

It was hot and we were beat the day we visited the Hoh Rain Forest.  We took a quick walk and snapped a few pictures.

We met a man camping with his toddler.  He told me "Camping with a toddler is not for the faint of heart."  I would agree.  Ethan did so well though.  We hope to go again before the end of summer.

Petting Lou Lou

This is Lou Lou.  She is a sweet old kitty.  She is the only kitty at our complex that doesn't run when Ethan screams "meow, meow" and runs toward it.  She's been sick for a while and we don't know how much longer she will be here to pet so I am grateful I got a picture of Ethan with her.  He looks for her every day.  He is very gentle with her.  He says "pet" and "meow" to her, sometimes offering her blades of grass or rocks to eat:)

Go Fly a Kite

Ethan flew a kite and jumped for the first time on the same day this week!
