Ethan got a hold of a roll of paper towels and told us it was a track as he unrolled it.  He ran back and forth saying "Choo!  Choo!"  It is so wonderful to see him play and use his imagination.

Ethan's Great Auntie E stayed with us for a night during her whirlwind of a trip in the States.  We miss her very much.  Hugs and Kisses....

Light Hearted

After we ate blackberries growing over the fence, threw sticks in the storm drain, and found mushrooms growing in the grass, Ethan pulled these broken lights out and told me he was playing "flashlight".

Ethan found this "lighthouse" in downtown Vancouver:)  He has been creatively spotting them everywhere since we went to the Mukilteo Light House Festival with Grandma Sandy and Papa Bill 

Cooking

Ethan has really been excited to "cook" this week with dried beans and cheerios.  He uses his work bench as an oven/freezer/cupboard and his drill press is his mixer.
