Our 2nd Annual Pumpkin Patch & Birthday Celebration
On a gorgeous sunny day we visited Bizi Farms pumpkin patch with Grandma Sandy and Papa Bill. It was fun and crowded. Definetaly in that order but so crowded that we did not wait in line for the hay ride that takes you to the actual pumpkin patch. I get funny looks every time I tell people we left pumpkinless at a pumpkin patch but between the huge corn maze, the petting zoo, the hay bail pyramid, corn pit, mini maze, and kiddie tractors, Ethan was pretty worn out. Besides we had Grandma Sandy's brownies waiting at home. Yummy!
Bravely feeding a goat with Dad
Ethan wanted to be buried after seeing other kids do it. I should have emptied his pockets before doing the wash....hay and corn kernels:)
I was getting Ethan's attention by singing his favorite part of the "Wheels on the Bus" song where the wipers go swish. A kid wearing a fake sword informed me that the tractor did not have wipers. I told him I was pretending and held my tongue when he told me the fertilizer went in the gas tank. Kids say the funniest things:) Check out the corn cob under Ethan's arm. He toted that around for a good hour after picking it in the corn maze.

Building!
Ethan has reached the stage where it is (usually) more fun to build something than destroy it. In fact sometimes he gets really focused and will tell you very seriously he is "building!" It is really fun to see Ethan create towers, trains, cranes and what he calls a flat bus. He mainly likes the smaller sized blocks and the fun accessories that move like the hooks with strings. He likes putting little stuffed animals, coins and raisins in his creations too:)
Ethan and Jeremy built this tower together. It did meet it's demise shortly after this picture but that is the fun of blocks. He just builds something new!

Papa Dan in Da Couv
The day we returned from Sequim we had a quick visit from Papa Dan. We were all beat from traveling but we took a nice walk along the river. It was good to see Papa Dan and the beautiful trailer he had purchased in Portland.
Road Trip with Grammy
Ethan and I took a road trip with Grammy Patti to Sequim. It was great!! Sequim is so beautiful. We had the pleasure of meeting more of Jeremy's family and family-friends, and catching up with family that we had met recently. Just a wonderful trip.
Sharing buckets with cousin Liam, 21 months old
Liam with his Grandpa, Phil
Such a sweet little boy. I am so grateful the boys were able to play together.
Finding shells on the beach with Grammy
Grammy's favorite beach in Sequim. She brought Jeremy here often as a little boy.
Walking hand in hand as the fog lifts
Dumping rocks in the driveway with Liam and Tina. I love the boys' looks of concentration.
Our little bear fits right in:)
A rainy peek-a-boo
Ethan loves the song "The Wheels on the Bus". He was pretending to honk the horn and make the wipers go swish
Excited about the animals on the totem pole
