A Foggy Day

After preschool we went to Vancouver Lake. It was so foggy we couldn't see the lake! We ran around on the trail, played on the playground, and saw a bald eagle instead.

The summer before Ethan turned 1 we would go to the park every night after dinner and push him in this swing. The playground is scheduled to be replaced this spring. I wanted a picture of him in it before it was gone. He's getting so big!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Ethan has the stomach flu but he is in remarkable spirits. He is resting today and cuddling up with his new Valentine's gift from Daddy.

Lego Club

Ethan is really into legos. We have made a few sets but the real joy comes in watching what he creates with his imagination. At home he and Jeremy have a city they have created. The buildings are all connected with straws to mimic electrical wires. He told Jeremy that he has been dreaming of making a city and how cool it is that it hasn't been knocked down. Such a big boy now! Lol

Yesterday we went to lego club at the library. The kids were given a challenge and then they build. This is Ethan's shipwreck. The doors are portal potties. Ya know, a toilet you get into and flush yourself to Egypt. Love the imagination and play on words:)

Happy Birthday Wyatt!!

Wyatt is turning 4! We had a fun celebration at Chuck E Cheese today. We are grateful for our friends, Wyatt and Jenny. 

Box Fort

Ethan and Coleson first made a fort where they got pillows and blankets and pretended they were sleeping. It then turned into the place where they put ALL of Ethan's toys while they pretended to be robbers.
