Ethan's first field trip was a fun success!

We met up with a friend and her adorable 2 month old, Zachary. After coffee for the Mommies and playing in an indoor tree house for Ethan, Ethan and I walked around downtown. We looked at the various sculptures and found a Vancouver rock outside my yoga studio!

Boys in the Garden

These two used to toddler around and babble with each other. Today the got filthy happily digging, moving rocks, and plotting how to capture the tiny mouse I saw. They have grown up together and are great friends.

Ice Cream with Friends

Update: Ethan was infatuated with the ice cream truck after getting this treat with Coleson and Isabella. So much so that the following day when I took him to school he heard a ding-dong sound, screamed "ice cream man!", and ran out of his classroom toward the exit.  It turned out to be the classroom washing machine. Kind of funny, kind of terrifying that he would just run away like that. Our crazy kid;)

Happy Mother's Day

Ethan made me these gorgeous coasters at school. I was totally surprised. He is learning to keep gifts a secret. I am thankful to be Ethan's mom!

Ethan is really settling into preschool. He loves going! Currently they are learning a lot about the season of spring and birds. Today was especially exciting because the chicks are hatching!! 4 chickens have emerged. The kids were bouncing with joy. It will be really special to be able to hold them when they are a few days old.
