This Lionel trains set from Ethan's Great Uncle Glen is infinitely better than the one I bought Ethan a couple of years ago. He is giddy and enjoying it more than I expected.

Family Bike Riders

Birthday Bike

Sandwiched between a BBQ with friends on Friday and a visit with Grammy and Grampy at the sushi restaurant on Sunday, Ethan became a bike rider!! Super exciting! A year of riding a balance bike gave him the skills to ride in under 10 minutes.

Ape Caves at Mt St Helens

Day 4 of our Staycation we explored the Ape Caves! We were under ground for nearly two hours.  Ethan hoped to find a puddle of lava, I was hoping for a bat sighting but we found neither.

Jeremy installed a new stereo in our car on day 2 of our Staycation. Awesome! But not photo worthy....

Family Staycation

Day one of our family Staycation was spent at the Rock and Mineral Festival.  Ethan panned for gold and happily dug for fossils. It was a really fun afternoon of ice cream and crystals!

Vacation in Spokane

All 3 of us were able to go to Spokane while Jason and his family visited from Tucson. We had awesome, summer, family fun! We rode water slides with Papa Dan and the cousins.  With Grandma Sandy, Papa Bill, and Jason's Family we played lazer tag and took a day to trip Coeur D Alene. Ethan spent 2 nights with his cousins leaving Jeremy and I free to have a night out! It was fun and really special for Ethan to be able to spend so much time with his cousins.
