Some day when Ethan is heading off to robot school, he will remember his first robot build, which he completed with Dad.

Buddies at Beaver Marsh

Ethan really wanted to look for snakes at Beaver Marsh yesterday. I am not sure if it was spontaneous or influenced by the fact we were going to see the Reptile Man later that night. Either way it was really good to play outside during a break in the rain.

Sunday School

In addition to being an awesome kindergartener, Ethan is really great at being a Sunday Schooler! He went for the first time today where he learned about baptism by putting oil on a baby doll and making crafts. We are grateful for the community at St Andrews and the obvious feeling of peace Ethan gets from much of what he learns there.

Holiday Summary

Jeremy took off the week between Christmas and New Years. The boys had a lot of time together wrestling, playing video games and legos. We saw our Sturtevant family where Ethan was given a few pieces of wheat. He chose to make it into a fragrant stew. We look forward to the new year with Ethan beginning kindergarten, plans for our family to swim more together, Opie continuing to fit into our family more and more, Jeremy completing his adventure van, and I plan on supporting Ethan's transition to a longer day at school and refocusing my energy on yoga. Welcome 2018!
