Despite Ethan and I returning with colds (Ethan's first) we had a fantastic time visiting family and friends in Spokane. The night we arrived, Ethan met his Auntie Cherie and cousins, Carly-6 and Drew-3, for the first time. They greeted him by throwing open the front door and happily squealing "ETHAN"! Which made Ethan cry. Auntie Cherie had been looking forward to cuddling a little baby. I passed over Ethan and he began to cry. Loud play and even Papa's sneezes made the little guy cry. He just wanted mama to hold him. Flattering but revealing too. I had not expected him to act that way but it makes sense. His days are filled with mellow, baby play and a lot of mom time. It took a few days for him to become comfortable. Once he did, he had a great time. Carly loves holding him. She is a great big cousin! Drew always had questions about him, "why did Ethan turn into a baby?" and "do you blow on baby Ethan's tummy?" were my two favorite.
